Job Title: Software Engineer - Full Stack Mid Level Location: Fully on-site in Alexandria, Virginia (with potential for hybrid and remote work flexibility) Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Mandatory) My client is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team in delivering cutting-edge software solutions for federal projects. You'll play a pivotal role in building secure, scalable applications that directly support our nation. Responsibilities:
Collaborate in an agile environment, using pair programming and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies to deliver high-quality code.
Partner with team leads, fellow developers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant software solutions.
Rigorously test and deploy applications, ensuring they meet stringent security and performance standards.
Analyze existing systems and provide recommendations for upgrades, optimizations, and new system installations in alignment with client requirements.
Actively contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance. Qualifications: US Citizenship (Mandatory)
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (Mandatory)
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or additional equivalent experience).
CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
Demonstrated expertise in the following technologies: Ruby, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL (Equivalent tech stack may be considered)
Experience working with project management tools like Jira and Confluence
Proven proficiency in Git version control.
Strong track record of successful collaboration within distributed agile teams.
Familiarity with cloud development environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
In-depth understanding of secure coding practices and secure software development principles. Highly Desirable: Active Secret Clearance
Experience developing solutions specifically for federal clients.
