Mid-Senior ServiceNow Developer Location: Arlington, VA Job Type: Full-time Job Description: As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with our business needs. You will work collaboratively with various teams to enhance our ServiceNow platform and ensure its optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: • ServiceNow Development: ? Design, configure, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, modules, and integrations. ? Develop and maintain workflows, user interfaces, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies. • ServiceNow Administration: ? Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. ? Manage ServiceNow instance security, including user/group roles and access controls. • Project Management: ? Lead and participate in ServiceNow-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. ? Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical guidance and best practices. • Process Improvement: ? Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the ServiceNow platform. ? Implement ITIL processes and best practices to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. • Documentation and Training: ? Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides. ? Provide training and support to end-users and junior team members. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration. • Proven experience in implementing ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and/or other ServiceNow modules. • Strong understanding of ITIL concepts and best practices. • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and data exchange between ServiceNow and other systems. • Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and SQL. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ITIL Foundation Certification).
