An Electrical Engineer you will focus on Circuit Design supporting the development of Hardware As an Engineer you will be able to engage in complex design development, and mentor junior engineers as needed. Design efforts and work will be performed within an Agile environment. Your core tasks will entail the
development of electrical component design solutions. Under the direction of your product line owners,
responsibilities include developing and evaluating electrical circuit design efforts. Basic
Qualifications:
• Must be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full time.
• Prior experience with the design, test, and/or integration and deployment of electrical
components, electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), or subsystems
• Understanding and application of industry electrical engineering technical standards;
demonstrated electrical component design experience and impact assessment / DAR
development exposure.
• Experience with circuit design, signal monitoring, circuit power, and fault isolation
• Experience using analytical software tools, such as MATLAB or Python, to analyze
and reduce data to identify key characteristics and trends.
• Ability to travel at least 10% Qualifications:
Experience with any of the following a Plus
• DOORS and/or CAMEO exposure
• Experience in one or more of the following system engineering knowledge areas:
technical planning, requirements derivation, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade
studies, cost and risk analysis, interface definition, system design, system integration,
verification and validation, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical power distribution and design systems.
• Able to interpret and develop electrical schematics.
• Experience with requirements-driven hardware design and circuitry design
• Demonstrated expert-level understanding and application of company electrical
• Experience with classified test systems or systems subject to cyber security policies
and risk management framework (RMF)
engineering technical standards.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design
• Experience with printed circuit board design and layout using ECAD tools.
• Perform Qualification testing, characterization testing, troubleshooting, and test data
review of completed designs.• Formal Release of engineering documentation including
technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures
• Burndown of nonconformances and/or root cause failure analysis of electronic systems
• Problem solving not only for technical issues, but also for schedule, cost, resource and
other project challenges.
• LabVIEW programming and experience with National Instruments (NI) hardware and
software products
• LabVIEW FPGA development experience
• Experience with telemetry systems
• Experience with mission critical and safety critical systems, components, connectors,
cables, etc.
