Network Engineers - Secret Cleared - Onsite in Sumter, SC - W2 Only Apex Systems, a World-Class Technology Solutions Provider, is seeking applicants for the below position on behalf of our client. Position: Network Engineers (4 openings) Location: Sumter, SC - 100% ONSITE Duration: 6 month contract to hire - conversion contingent on your performance **Once converted to full time with the client - employees will be required to travel to SW Asia 90-150 days a year (travel compensated)** Clearance/Certification Requirements: CCNP, Sec+, Network+, Secret Clearance Target Start Date: August 12, 2024 MUST HAVE Requirements: Clearance/Certification requirements listed above
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience OR No Bachelor’s and 8+ years of experience
Strong Cisco Enterprise Engineer Experience - Routers/Switches
Need to have hands on experience with network engineering, installation and deployments Project Description: Our client has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Unified Collaboration Architect and Design Engineer to support the USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). This position works at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location in Sumter, South Carolina. Day to Day: Engineer, design and implement Unified Communications/Collaboration voice network, systems, and services (e.g., Cisco Unified Communications Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Unity Connection & Unity Express, Dial Plans, Calling Search Spaces and Partitions, Call Admission Control).
Identify and troubleshoot VoIP QoS issues, and recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
Troubleshoot escalated issues to identify and repair complex network issues for WAN, LAN, Voice.
Analyze metrics and recognize sub-par network performance.
Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents. *Please note that as a contract employee of Apex Systems, benefits include the below with employee contribution* Health
