Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Full Time Force Management Analyst to support The Office of The Chief Army Reserve Force Management at Fort Belvoir. Qualified candidates must have a SECRET clearance. The Office of The Chief Army Reserve Force Management is responsible to fully develop Force Structure requirements, conduct Force Integration of organizational designs and plans, and conduct Force Accounting and Allocation of authorizations to provide the Army Reserve (AR) Commanders with a more accessible and readily deployable force. Apogee Solutions supports the Force Management (FM) process through reviews, studies, analysis, assessments, and functional expertise, encompassing conceptual development, capabilities requirements generation, Force Development, Organizational Development, Force Integration Functions, and Force Accounting of resources within the Department of Defense. The Force Management Analyst will: Provide FM analytical expertise in the areas of Force Development, Force Design, Command Plan, and all Change Management Plans.
Analyze emerging doctrine and plans, review documents, and provide recommendations on capabilities, analysis of alternatives, and analytic support to FM processes.
Support the Force Management decision making process via a client-approved, structured methodology.
Produce and review data analysis products to better enable timelier and resource-informed decisions on all new, updated, or existing products prior to Total Army Analysis (TAA) resourcing phase for the Force Manager to produce a value proposition.
Attend TAA meetings and panels to support the AR staff by identifying issues that impact USARC interests, resources, and structure. Required Experience US Citizen with DOD SECRET clearance
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
5 years’ experience and knowledge working with the methods across the entire Army Reserve Force Management process
Experience with Structure and Manpower Allocation System (SAMAS) extract files, Force File, U.S. Army Force Management Support Agency extract files, Reserve Component Management System (RCMS), Army Organization Server (AOS) and Force Structure Reporting (FSR) databases
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines at times
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
High degree of interpersonal competence and initiative to work with a variety of personalities
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
