Work Location:  In-person at Public School or Center – Southern New Hampshire 

Client Needs: Some students and clients have ASD, intellectual disabilities, behavioral disabilities, other disabilities, or may not yet be identified with any disability.  

Start Date: ASAP  

Brief Overview: BCBA will need to provide services as-needed, observations, including direct and indirect support, coordination of care, parent/staff training, meetings (i.e. IEPs, BSP creation), Creation of program materials, etc. assessments, treatment planning, data collection, etc. 40 hours hours/week.  

Schedule: Flexible within typical operating hours, based on student/client needs. The provider will likely make a consistent schedule but may need to accommodate meetings or observations at various times throughout the work week. 

 

Position Description & Qualifications:  

  • Writes assessment reports based on initial assessment including behavior support recommendations.  

  • Collaborates with administrative and clinical teams, along with families, in the development of behavior support strategies.  

  • Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments.  

  • Writes reports and develops Behavior Intervention Plans.  

  • Develops data collection forms.  

  • Trains staff in implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans and recommended strategies and monitors implementation.   

  • Conducts staff training on topics in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).  

  • Monitors and provides support for staff in the use of ABA strategies and procedures.  

  • Participates in regularly scheduled Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings at schools/centers and initial client or student interviews/assessments.  

  • Regularly assesses and monitor student/client progress. Provides ongoing support one-on-one or in small group settings.  

  • Reviews skill acquisition and behavior data on a regular basis.  

  • Modifies Behavior Intervention Plans and skill programs as needed.  

  • Assists with development of materials for behavior support and skill training.  

  • Supports school teams at Individualized Education Plans (IEP) meetings as needed to review progress, data, and develop IEP goals. (School roles only

  • Demonstrates effective communication skills in working with a variety of team members.  

  • Supervises BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts) and RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) when applicable.  

  • Complies with all rules and regulations set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.  

  • Develops data collection forms.  

  • Maintain quality standards in regard to HIPPA compliance.   

Preferred Candidates Will Have 

  • Experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, of all ages.  

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.  

  • Ability to work in the US.  

  • Ability to relocate or travel to office location (in person required).  

  • Active Board certification – passed the BACB exam for behavior analysts.  

  • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, education, or related field.  

  • Current 8-hour supervision certificate – certified to provide supervision to RBT’s and has supervisory experience. Experience utilizing behavioral skills training.
