**What You’ll Do:**

* Interpret written requirements and technical specifications to design and develop robust software solutions.
* Develop high-quality software based on detailed technical specifications.
* Analyze and investigate reported software problems, documenting findings thoroughly.
* Perform essential software maintenance and correct identified defects.
* Create and execute unit tests, implement comprehensive test plans and harnesses, and document test results.
* Investigate and propose effective solutions for defects and problems discovered during testing.

**What You Bring:**

* **Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Equivalent of 6-10 years of experience in a comparable software engineering position.
* Proven ability to interpret complex written requirements and technical specifications.
* Demonstrated experience in developing software from technical specifications.
* Strong analytical and investigative skills for diagnosing software problems.
* Proficiency in performing software maintenance and defect correction.
* Experience with unit testing, test plan implementation, and test harness development.
* A proactive approach to investigating and suggesting solutions for software defects.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
