Standard Shift: Sunday ? Thursday 1:30 PM ? 9:30PM

Job Responsibilities

• Duties and responsibilities may vary by Aramark location depending on client requirements and business needs.
• Prepare and cook a variety of foods in accordance with production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up and maintain workstations with all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling as required.
• Safely operate a variety of kitchen utensils, including knives and cutting tools.
• Use kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Apply various cooking methods, including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming, to prepare meats, vegetables, and other food items.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food according to established presentation standards.
• Store food properly in compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and dishware used by kitchen staff and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, professional attitude toward guests, clients, and team members.
• Follow all Aramark safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Safeguard company assets and maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications

• • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
  • Must be able to acquire food safety certification
  • Must be available to work evenings and occasionally outside of standard business hours as needed to support culinary operations.
  • Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
  • Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
     

  This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
