Job Description
Aramark is looking for a commissioning engineer to become part of the commissioning team. Commissioning is a process that verifies the construction and operation of new building infrastructure including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. We are engaged by the owner to oversee the design and construction of multimillion dollar projects, with our project portfolio being primarily comprised in the healthcare and higher-ed market sectors. As part of the commissioning process, the employee will participate in peer reviews of the design, review submittals, conduct static inspections of the construction, witness appropriate start-ups and testing, functionally test the new equipment and controls, and assist the owner with ensuring that proper training and closeout documentation is provided with specified procedures followed. Commissioning documentation and reporting will be required for each stage of the processes.
The desired candidate will possess an energy, mechanical, or electrical engineering degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in the fields of HVAC design, project management, commercial construction, facility operations, and automatic temperature controls. The work will include both field and office work which will be home-based. Work within the region will primarily be local. Most to all travel will be limited primarily to sites that can be accessed on a daily commute.

Job Responsibilities
- Finalize invoicing and secure final payment and client recommendations
- Develop process improvement suggestions as required
- Mentoring other through shared technical knowledge to support the technical growth of other with the group.
- Possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong organizational and computer skills are necessary, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to complete work within a specified time to support deadlines and financial obligations.
- Reports directly to the Sr Manager, Engineering Solutions
- Responsible for leading the execution of professional services within the region and supporting national strategic goals and commissioning objectives
- Lead the client relationship at strategic, high-visibility accounts and actively leading the business development effort for sub-regional accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering or Technical Related Field
- Commissioning Certification Preferred (BCA, ASHRAE, UoW or AEE)
- 3+ years of experience in the building systems industry with a minimum of 4 years of direct commissioning industry experience. Field experience with mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
- Demonstrate successful execution of the Cx process for the assigned service on a minimum of 25 projects (or $1.25M Revenue), including project support staff within allocated budgets
- Secure 10 (or $500K Revenue) new ES revenue driving engagements from existing clients or directly referred from existing clients
- Maintain regular (5 per year) communication with a minimum of 10 client/partner relationships
- Technical leadership to regional and/or national team members sharing expertise.
- Leadership skills required to develop and implement a new process, procedure or area of improvement for the ES team.
- Development of performance based relationships with client and key customers
