Below are the position details for your reference: Title: Help Desk Tier III Location: Washington DC Duration: 6-12-month contract (possibility of extension) Rate: $45 - $50 an hour on W2 Help Desk Tier III Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified VTC Support/Installations Technician to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support the US Senate ITSC IV program located in Washington, D.C. This person will support our customer with aligning their technologies with overall goals and better utilize existing technologies and processes. This role requires excellent analytical skills, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to understand how technology supports business and organization goals. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: • Maintain the support the Video environment and the day-to-day functional requirements across the VTC infrastructure in accordance with existing Runbook/Standard Operating Procedures. • Installs, configures, and upgrades computer hardware and software which includes the migration of data. • Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software. • Applies advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions. • Set up and support hardware, software, network access, telephones, and other equipment for new hires and existing employees. • Advanced level experience in MAC/PC hybrid environments including mobile devices. • Hands-on experience with a wide range of infrastructure, including but not limited to Operating Systems, Device Management, and client systems • Contribute to departmental policies and procedures related to computer hardware, software installations and customer support. • Support Windows 10, Mac OS, iOS, and Android • Monitor, update and maintain tickets in defined ticketing system. • Setting up the computer(s), monitor(s), VTC Devices(s) • Troubleshoot video room issues • Train end users on how to operate the equipment as requested. • Provide assistance when needed to support the team in developing and/or updating Standard Operating Procedures for executive assistants, end users and IT users as related to VTC Support. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 8 years experience; minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; or High School Diploma and 12 years experience. • U.S. Citizenship Required; Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance • VMware of VTC facilities, scheduling practices, and room setup • CISCO networking (routing and switching) • Physical and Virtual Server technologies and platforms • Knowledge in Audio and Video distribution • Must be able to troubleshoot VTC equipment and networking issues. • Must be able to operate Webcasts, Web Meetings, and Webinars Appreciate your quick response if you are available for a new job opportunity and please feel free to reach me out for any query you may have.
