How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Monitor patient vital signs in real-time to provide continuous physiological assessment (heart rate, rhythm, and pressure), ensuring the physician and team are immediately informed of any subtle condition changes.
- Anticipate and prepare clinical needs by expertly managing specialized equipment and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment to ensure procedural flow and patient safety.
- Execute precise diagnostic testing including cardiac output and hemodynamic calculations to provide the data necessary for accurate cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment.
- Lead patient education and recovery by providing clear, compassionate instructions on post-procedure care and site monitoring to empower patients in their healing journey.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards through meticulous room preparation, infection control, and sharp safety protocols to protect both the clinical team and the patients we serve.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
Association or American Red Cross accepted. - One or more of the following required:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing
International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. - Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular
Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. - Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed
Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts must be held concurrently. - Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior
to hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
Professional Credentials: Must hold current license as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or be a pending graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
