- Job Function 1: Assessment skills. Has competent knowledge of all the normal stages of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric and delivers patient care appropriately. Performs thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive and accurate.
- Job Function 02: Clinical Skills. Demonstrates competent clinical skills. Performs direct patient care activities in support of patient care delivery and team concept.

- Job Function 09: Patient Education and Chart Completion. Involves patient and family in education. Performs pre-operative and postoperative assessment and education.
- Job Function 10: Duties Specific to PAT RN. Supports completion of patient testing and evaluates Pre Admission Testing orders.
