SALES REPRESENTATIVE / National Accounts Atlantica Imports one of the nation’s largest Seafood Wholesalers is seeking an experienced Seafood Industry sales professional to handle multiple national accounts.Job SummaryThis Sales position will be responsible for developing and enhancing sales in both Chain and Retail accounts.   The ideal candidate will have a solid book of business enabling them to have an immediate impact.  This position is designed to maintain existing customers, maximizing profitable sales, and develop new business.  This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused culture, an opportunity for continuous advancement within the organization and a competitive compensation and benefits package.Essential Job Functions The National Accounts Sales Representative’s primary responsibility is making sales, marketing and selling Atlantica as a one stop source for Fresh and Frozen seafood.The functions for which this position is responsible include:Sales Activities and ProcessesIdentifying Customer OpportunitiesAchieving Sales GoalsGenerate Economic ImpactEstablish Atlantica Imports as a viable source for Program Chain business.Regularly engage with clients, and potential clients in your assigned market/territory to obtain orders and contracts for ongoing contract business.Consistently execute sales activities, including solicitations, meetings product presentations.Attend trade shows and other related industry events.Follow consistent and productive sales processes.Regularly review and assess sales activities and processes for effectiveness and suggest revisions as needed.Provide regular reports of activities and processes.RequirementsMinimum of 3+ years’ experience in seafood salesProficiency in selling various species of Fresh Fish, Frozen Seafood Products and Pasteurized Crabmeat.Knowledge of the contracting process and best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including digital, phone, public speaking, and product presentations.Ability to identify and cultivate productive and lasting relationships with clients, members, stakeholders, etc.Proficiency in industry resourcesProficiency in Microsoft Office products; MS Teams, Outlook, Office 365 Excel & Adobe AcrobatThis is a hybrid position which will require the right candidate to report a few days each week to our Glen Rock, NJ facility.  Compensation Up to $150,000.00 base salary + Annual Incentive (based on experience and location) Health Insurance 17 Paid Time Off Days as well as Major Holidays Cell phone stipendReports to:  Director of SalesAlong with your resume please provide a cover letter outlining your experience, achievements and salary requirements.
