Salary: $140,000-$165,000 wage range. You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on experience, skillset, and geographical location.
AttainX is seeking an experienced Data Architect/SME to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of data management and ability to apply creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help our client manage its data assets. You will use your subject matter knowledge and experience to lead the design of data architecture solutions and resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and business owners, working with stakeholders to make recommendations on future data architecture development, and analyzing data architecture-related business needs.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing programs, including Data Platforms, Engineering, Enterprise Analytics, and Solution Architecture.
- 5+ years of experience leading increasingly complex data architecture projects.
- Experience with conducting gap analysis to identify problems with current state and recommend solutions.
- Experience with the full data lifecycle, from ingestion through display.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex issues pertaining to data in enterprise-size mission environments.
- Familiarity with data standards and resolving data issues in enterprise-size environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work across teams and departments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, MS, Excel, and MS Teams.
- Must be able to pass and maintain a security clearance public trust background check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outline Current Process Workflows.
- Identify Current Data Collection Methods for the Primary MFH Processes.
- Conduct a Gap Analysis Compared to agency Data Practices/Standards and other Federal Agencies.
- Conduct comprehensive data quality assessments, focusing on identifying data inconsistencies, gaps, and duplication.
- Current State Assessment from data intake to final disposition and reporting.
- Lead process redesign efforts to improve data intake, handling, and reporting including developing Visual Data flow diagrams.
Key Activities Include:
- Convene stakeholder interviews and focus groups to build current state challenges and prioritize those with a workflow efficiency focus.
- Perform a Gap Assessment to identify current state challenges with processes, technology and tools, and staff training and development that must be addressed to achieve the future state
- Develop and evaluate alternative organizational and operating model strategies both quick wins and long-term proposals that will transform existing organizational structure, operations, training, workforce, and technology, to provide executive leadership with an array of options for achieving the future state.
- Deliver findings and recommendations to provide a detailed summary of all activities and rationale for proposed changes as they correlate to findings.
