Job Requisition ID #24WD81141Position OverviewYou will join Enterprise Systems and Experience (ESE) which is part of Autodesk's 3500+ person Digital Platform & Experience division. ESE is the crew that helps Autodesk create business and customer success. We are all about improving the productivity of our people across the organization.As the Collaboration Systems Migration Developer, you will?accelerate and manage the process of system and data migration maximizing the use of our tools, collaborate with across teams, consult on best practice, resolve migration issues, and manage escalations.You will work with diverse personas across Autodesk including, senior leadership, partners, and technology staff. You will be successful in this role establishing working relationships with our users to ensure efficient, secure, and practical solution to meet system migration needs. You will report to the Collaboration Services Engineering Manager.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain relationships and oversight to ensure successful services and implementationsOversee data migrations of target companiesInitiate programs and protocols for seamless data and system migration & integrationFollow industry best practices, principles, and quality assurance and implement new ideas and improvementsCoordinate vendor software, technical services, and demonstrationsEnsure appropriate security controls are in placeFollow defined processes to support integrated enterprise applications, infrastructure technology, and dataPrevent systems/storage failure or diminished performance according to SLAsRespond to and troubleshoot system issues, isolating sources of failure, diagnose and repair infrastructure systems or initiate protocols to minimize impactPromptly escalate issues to vendors or team members and assume 24x7 on-call duty as assignedPerform maintenance or upgrades after hours or on weekends to minimize business impactProduce regular performance and capacity summaries and status reports for managementCreate technology status communications and engage with Product Support and customers to gather usage insights and address concernsConduct analysis of systems for migrations and participate in system/project design and engineering processesSupport project planning with subject matter expertiseDocument requirements, procedures, designs, and configurations and develop technical diagrams and interconnectivity with interacting systemsRecord changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processesDevelop test plans and perform post-installation testingVerify component/system performance through demonstrations, best practices, or pilot testing and identify, isolate, and rectify performance issuesProvide timelines, benefit, and risk analysis for design solutionsDecompose complex problems into manageable componentsStreamline implementation efforts for efficiencyWork with Product Owners and Managers to refine functional requirementsContribute to future product design based on customer insightsIdentify and address issues before they escalateMinimum QualificationsFosters a collaborative and constructive atmosphere, exhibiting optimism and empathy in challenging situationsExperienced systems migration consultant 2yrs with both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (GSuite) environments2+ years of experience as a SharePoint administratorDemonstrated experience with migration tools: ShareGate, BitTitan, Microsoft Migration Manager, and Exchange On-Premises remote Hybrid migrationExperience migrating email, meeting, file storage, and voice systemsKnowledge of Windows operating systems, SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and bulk change scriptingKnowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint formsProficient in coordinating complex schedules and prioritizing tasksUnderstand networking to install multiple pieces of software independentlyExchange/O365 migrations, mailbox creation/deletion, database migrations, general maintenanceMigrate from on-prem resources to cloud services, management of cloud resources in AWS, Azure, or other like technologiesBalances urgency with accuracy, ensuring efficient and accurate task completionFamiliarity with Identity and Access Management systems, such as Azure or DUO#LI-RM2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $122,400 and $198,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
