This position is Hybrid and offers options for working from home. Resource must be local to the DC, MD, VA area.
**Resources may work from home 2 days a week.** Description:
Full-stack Web developer to: • Design, build, and test a web-based application
• Edit site content for various components
• Maintain website standards and comply with predefined design guidelines
• Utilize best practices in web screen design and learn about different middleware platforms to source and update data through web screens as specified in functional requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Proficient in React.js and NodeJS
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience building and working with RESTful web services
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab-CI
• Knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience working with open source software Preferred Qualifications: • Proficient in working with relational databases (Postgres and MySQL preferred)
• Experience with AWS containerization
• Experience working with a content management system such as Drupal to create, manage, and theme content
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environment
• 508 compliance development Clearance:
Active/current Top Secret clearance required. Pay and Benefit Information:
Pay Range $115,000 - $130,000 The pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, clearance level, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
