Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our Tactical Mobile (TacMobile) Systems Lifecycle Support team supporting the NIWC Atlantic TacMobile IPT with the sustainment of the existing fielded configurations as well as developing and fielding future capabilities for the TacMobile sites (USN, RAAF and FMS customers). This individual will lead our Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, assessment and execution activities supporting TacMobile Developmental Testing; Training; Configuration Management; Data Library; Software Activity and License Management; Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Planning; Inventory Management; User Manuals and Drawings; Platform/Site/Installation; and Foreign Disclosure Management. Key Responsibilities include: * Logistics Planning and Strategy:
* Develop ILS strategies and plans to support the TacMobile program objectives.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of ILS activities with program goals and timelines.
* Supply Chain Management:
* Optimize and manage the supply chain efforts supporting TacMobile systems and components.
* Ensure timely procurement, transportation, and distribution of materials, equipment, and spare parts.
* Inventory Control:
* Possess an understanding of the TacMobile Program of Record (POR) and the three configurations.
* Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal levels of stock and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
* Implement inventory control procedures and systems to track and manage TacMobile assets
* Maintenance Support:
* Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for TacMobile systems to ensure operational readiness.
* Monitor maintenance schedules and performance metrics to achieve program objectives.
* Interface with senior Navy officials, contractors, and stakeholders to communicate ILS program status, issues, and recommendations.
* Quality Assurance and Compliance:
* Ensure compliance with Navy regulations, policies, and standards related to ILS and supply chain operations.
* Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of product and service delivery.
* Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Analyze ILS data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings on ILS performance for program management and stakeholders.
* Risk Management:
* Identify potential ILS risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
* Proactively address ILS challenges to support uninterrupted TacMobile operations.
* Vendor and Contractor Management:
* Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize procurement processes and cost-effectiveness.
* Team Leadership and Development:
* Lead a team of ILS professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment within the TacMobile ILS team. Required Education, Experience, & Skills The successful candidate must have: * Bachelor's degree. * Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 3 or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training) or possess an additional five (5) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics. * Fifteen (15) years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 20 years if not DAWIA Level 3 certified) of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes. * Eight (8) years of experience in support of Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Platforms. Demonstrated management skills, to include Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. Experience supervising Logistics Specialists. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Master's degree preferred.
* Experience with Foreign Military Sales and Foreign Disclosure requirements.
* Familiarity with ITAR and Export Control. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $101520 - $172620 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
