Job Description Join BAE Systems' as an Construction Industry Capture and Proposal Manager to be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team who solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges and directly support the nation's security! The Role will primarily support the 'Sentinel' Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program replacing the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, with additional support to other BAE Systems' infrastructure related contracts with the Ordinance Team (Tennessee and Virginia), and Navy facility operations at various locations among others. These projects represent billions of dollars in construction related planning, design, execution and sustainment activities. The position will be based at Hill AFB, Utah with opportunity for travel to sites as needed. The Role The Construction Industry Capture and Proposal Strategist performs one or more of the following functions:
* Use your background in the Environmental, Engineering Services and or Construction industries to assist our customer in soliciting private industry support to field the next generation land-based ICBM platform * Assist Project Managers in developing solicitation packages, and gather understanding in project schedules, cost estimates, scope, and contract terms
* Extensive understanding and participated in the execution of business development strategies to drive growth in the sought after industry * Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify and evaluate market opportunities and to inform decision-making
* Build rapport with clients, gather crucial information to assess needs
* Coordinate with internal teams/customers to implement the customer's solution, including participation in kick-off
* Develop and manage relationships with key customer contacts in engineering, sales and procurement
* Travel to maintain a strong understanding of market trends, and awareness of the challenges the industry seeks to resolve * Maintain close involvement with proposal teams and drive decisions as required to ensure project award * Understand the landscape to drive growth through strategic partnerships and market expansion to ensure private/government partnership are beneficial * Work with Project Managers to identify, address and resolve any project issues impacting client goals, objectives and/or client satisfaction
* Clearly define and communicate the project scope, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client needs and expectations. This includes identifying key deliverables, setting measurable objectives, establishing timelines, and detailing all requirements necessary for successful project completion
* Maintain open lines of communication with the client throughout the project to manage expectations and address any changes or concerns promptly.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills * 14 yrs experience (12 yrs with MS) in Construction/Engineer Services industry
* Extensive experience in proposal development, contract terms and award
* Ability to lead a capture team, including development of Technical and Commercial Proposals
* Demonstrated involvement with advising and/or leading proposal activities including market assessments, evaluating engineering scope definition, risk assessment and probability winning analysis
* Must be a U.S. citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
* Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive business plans
* Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting
* Support interaction with customers (internal & external) for all aspects of strategic initiatives, including customer meetings, presentations, and written communications Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Background in business development outside of sought after industry
* Experience with growing vendor pool through trade shows, operator conferences, and industry events
* Established network of contacts from the industry
* Active security clearance

Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 - $195660 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
