Job Description BAE Systems is looking for qualified professionals to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustainment and modernization efforts for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system. The Minuteman III is a 1970s era weapon system and is scheduled to be retained as the United States military's prompt, global strike deterrent system until at least 2030. The Missile Maintenance Operations Center (MMOC) Principal Logistician position is a dynamic position that will allow opportunities to support the entire Minuteman III weapon system. Responsibilities include: * Provide supervisory duties over MMOC team
* Using Major Command implementing instructions, AFCSM 21-series manuals, and applicable technical orders to validate, review, and correct work orders entered into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)
* Update changes to team's departure and arrival times in IMDS
* Help conduct Ground Maintenance Response/Missile Operational Status Reply cross-check and LCC Status cross-check with each manned LCC using the checklists provided on NMC2
* Update equipment operating hours in IMDS as required
* Review all priority 1-4 discrepancies for validity and accuracy
* Enhance continuity and data standardization in IMDS
* Monitor/update status of each LF and MAF, uninstalled missile motors, mission support equipment, and vehicles designated in IMDS, and NMC2, for status reporting
* Document MCC-approved status changes in IMDS, Force Status and Readiness, and NMC2 as required
* Document all discrepancies that meet NMC or PMC criteria in the Force Status and Readiness module via secure network
* Assist in documenting new priority 1-4 discrepancies for LFs and support equipment, all LCC discrepancies called in by MCC, and BCE discrepancies
* Assign maintenance priorities in accordance with AFGSC priority lists
* Assist in cannibalization requests
* Conduct Maintenance Data Collection and status report training of contractor and government personnel Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Minimum of 10 years of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Maintenance experience with missile maintenance field experience OR 10 years of Maintenance Management Production experience with extensive knowledge of ICBM Maintenance operations
* Must possess a strong IMDS background
* Ability to interpret/apply applicable Major Command implementing instructions and associated technical orders
* Detail oriented, with excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in an effective manner. Strong interpersonal skills; works well with others, and responds well to direction.
* Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels throughout the Missile Wing and AFNWC
* Weapon System Controller experience desired Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
* Community College Air Force (CCAF) Degree in one of the following: Missile Maintenance Technology, Space and Missile Maintenance Technology, Electronic Systems Technology, or Mechanical and Electrical Technology degree Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $78930 - $134190 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
