SAP TECHNICAL LEAD (16471) WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

** Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen ** Baer is looking for an SAP Technical Lead for a 12-month Federal project located in Columbia, SC. Title: SAP Technical Lead Location:Columbia, SC (partially remote) Duration: 12+ months Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted) Description: * Lead the SAP project team with technical direction, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. * Design and manage SAP ECC architecture to meet business needs. * Implement and maintain quality assurance processes. * Lead daily standups and collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Oversee customization, data migration, and system integration. * Mentor junior team members and facilitate effective communication. * Serve as technical contact for clients and manage change requests. * Identify and mitigate technical risks. Support testing, UAT, and go-live activities. * Maintain technical documentation and provide regular updates. Requirements: * Proven experience in SAP project leadership.State/Local experience is a plus. * Hands on experience with Order-to-Cash (OTC) process and core Finance modules (FI/CO). * Strong knowledge of SAP ECC architecture, customization, and integration. * Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills. * Ability to manage technical risks and ensure project quality. SAP certifications are a plus. * Bachelor’s Degree * Candidates must live in the Southeast region with the ability to commute into Columbia, South Carolina as needed (1-2 times per month).
