The duties of this job will include delivering products in a safe, courteous, timely and professional manner. You will assist with connecting and disconnecting hoses for unloading bulk flour.
The majority of our flour deliveries start between 4am and 2pm and that is when most of our drivers are working. However, we have some important customers receiving flour earlier and later than those hours, and will need our drivers to be flexible regarding their start times. Drivers will also need to work weekends as needed.
Requirements of a successful Flour Delivery Driver:

High school diploma or GED
Current Class A CDL.Tanker endorsement preferred, but not required
At least 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience, 3 years preferred
For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
Work weekends and holidays as scheduled; willingness to work nights
Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
Experience driving in the snow and ice
Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks and successfully pass Bartlett's road test, which will include a proper pre and post trip inspection of the vehicle

Here are some of the physical requirements of this role:

Climb into and out of cab multiple times per shift
Lift 50 or more pounds daily while climbing steps
Drive and work in adverse weather conditions
Hook and unhook hoses and open and close valves

All employees shall be subject to drug testing and background checks.
