Responsibilities Execute activities for prospecting, lead generation, and selling of our company’s services to Government customers – in conjunction with sales leadership
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads
• Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate our company’s value proposition
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, create quotes and new customer accounts, coordinate with partners
• Manage, maintain, and communicate accurate customer and pipeline records within Salesforce and to sales leadership
• Submit accurate and timely activity reports as required
• Conduct online product demonstrations to potential customer audiences that are both technical and non-technical
• Understanding of the Government procurement process
• Identify and develop new business through channel partners
• Provide market feedback to include customer priorities and needs
• Create and mainatain marketing and presentation materials
• Maintain our internal libarary of project data and past performance for us as marketing and RFP responses
• Attend face-to-face meetings with all customers at least every other week
• Analyze & position company & respond to RFPs that showcase our qualification sand past performance
• 3-5 years of Government Inside sales experience
• Demonstrable record of sales success against quota
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working at a Government value-added reseller or distributor
• Proficiency with CRM tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Exchange, Power Point, Excel, etc)
• Identify potential opportunities, arrange meetings, initiating sales momentum, build proposals, and closing sales
• Identify, establish and build relationships with organizations that will assist in the sales of Base One’s services
• Refine and progress the capture plan strategies
• Attend Business Development meetings (kickoff, status, approval etc.)
• Work alongside executive leadership to identify, refine, and execute our DOD and Federal growth strategies
• Achieve yearly sales targets and build opportunity pipelines for out years
• Develop and execute effective business development/sales call plans for meetings with target agencies and program managers
• Develop industry relationships and represent our company at industry events
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including other business development and capture team members, client executives, proposal managers, and program management teams to ensure effective, efficient, and integrated implementation of capture strategies
• Meet or exceed established performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and new business sales success
• Experience establishing and growing relationships via software channel
• Proven track record in selling as an individual, growing revenue, developing and selling solutions, and executing strategic campaigns
• Experience building and maintaining high-level relationships and demonstrated ability to prospect and close new customers Required Skills:
Must have experience:
3-5 years of Government Inside sales experience
US CITIZEN w/Clearable background
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Exchange, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
Passion for selling
Enthusiastic and “self-starter” approach EDUCATION
• BA/BS degree is preferred Desired Skills:
• Military veteran is preferred
• BA/BS degree is preferred
• Prior successful track record meeting sales quotas is preferred
• Experience with software, IT, Cyber security sales is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College/University
• Previous experience working at a Government value-added reseller or distributor
• ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE is preferred
