WHAT YOU'LL DO:


The Junior Accountant will be responsible for the performance of various bookkeeping and clerical functions in support of the Accounting Services Division and various client systems. Will assume responsibility for payroll preparation and system maintenance, will be responsible for the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports; perform reconciliations, resolve accounting issues, and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures for the company and small clients. In addition to maintaining a working knowledge and adequate documentation of the various accounting systems, controls and analysis performed by the Accounting Services Division to ensure the ongoing quality and timeliness of work.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintain cash balance control records.
  • Record entries into the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable systems, making associated deposits and issuing applicable payments.
  • Set up and maintain customer and vendor accounts in the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable systems.
  • File all current transaction source documentation
  • Post applicable transactions to accounting systems

SCHEDULE + LOCATION:

  • Start Date: November 18th
  • Full-time schedule
    • Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
    • No weekends!
  • On-site in our Pen Argyl, PA office
    • Once released from initial trainings (~4 months), hybrid (office/remote) work environment is available for this position as business needs dictate and if performance is maintained

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent from a four-year college.
  • Minimum 0-1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent attitude
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks or comparable accounting software system
  • Willingness to learn new systems and software applications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including word processing and electronic mail


Compensation details: 19-22 Hourly Wage
