The Asset Protection Auditor is responsible for conducting asset protection audits to mitigate shrink, damage and security exposure in a distribution center. They participate and support the safety program and safety committee. This role supports inventory control as needed to drive quality.

- Executes the weekly, monthly and quarterly aspects for the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) Asset Protection Audit Program including all subsequent data entry, reporting and scorecard updates to leadership.
- Provides support as necessary for the Asset Protection Officers and Production Process Preparation (3P) Security Guards regarding front desk and gate house operations.
- Conducts monthly building security inspections via the Security Walk. Addresses and resolves identified problems.
- Validates specific functions where direct financial risk exists (e.g. inventory adjustments, cycle counts).
- Provides audit support where necessary.
- Executes the retail RDC truck salt program, providing subsequent data entry, reporting and scorecard updates.
- Assist the RDC Asset Protection Manager in the duties of running the Asset Protection Department and Program.
Basic Qualifications:
- Able to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of security experience
- 2 years of auditing or inventory control experience
- Forklift certification
