Summary:

Join the professional event operations team at BEST Crowd Management as an Access Control Team Member. In this role, you will help ensure a safe and organized event environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, and monitoring restricted areas. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals who are committed to providing excellent service while maintaining venue access policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:

Monitor designated access points to ensure only authorized guests, staff, and vendors enter restricted or credentialed areas.

Verify tickets, credentials, passes, or wristbands to confirm proper authorization for entry.

Provide clear and professional directions to guests, staff, and vendors regarding access points and restricted areas.

Assist with event set-up tasks such as positioning stanchions, signage, or barriers at entry points.

Maintain awareness of surroundings and report suspicious activity or policy violations to supervisors or security personnel.

Ensure access areas remain organized, safe, and compliant with venue procedures.

Communicate effectively with supervisors, security personnel, and event staff to support smooth event operations.

Assist with crowd flow and line management at entrances when necessary.

Provide basic guest assistance by answering questions and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the venue.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards at all times.

Requirements:

Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary depending on local regulations).

Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college education is preferred).

Previous experience in security support, access control, event operations, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to enforce policies consistently and professionally.

Good communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with guests, staff, and vendors.

Ability to remain alert and focused in busy, high-traffic environments.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Physical stamina to stand and remain active for extended periods.

Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
