Blu Omega is seeking a COMSEC and Cryptography Policy Adivsor to develop and monitor the implementation of policy and procedures to support information and privacy security goals and operations. Responsibilities:
• Develops changes in policy or strategy to support new initiatives or required changes.
• Manages information security implications within the organization as directed by leadership.
• Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
• Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions.
• Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision; mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies. Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in a Cybersecurity or Technology field and 12+ years of experience working with Cybersecurity, or 18+ years of experience working with Cybersecurity in lieu of a degree.
• Experience briefing OSD level or with Military Command at the Pentagon.
• Knowledge of cryptography modernization technologies.
• Create various Policies: Directives, Instructions, and Manuals. • Due to contractual and security obligations TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA five (5) days a week. Salary Range: $185,000- $215,000
