Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC). This is a Full-Time role at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide behavioral health services to military service members and their families MFLC counselors provide face-to-face counseling services to military service members and their families. Counseling is supportive in nature and addresses: living conditions, life skills, improving relationships at home and at work, stress management, adjustment issues (such as those related to returning from deployment), marital problems, parenting, fear, grief and loss. Counselors also assist with health and wellness presentations and training in consultation with the installation command staff regarding behavioral issues. Minimum Requirements: * Master's degree in a Behavioral Health profession (e.g., MS, MSW, MA)
* A valid, unrestricted counseling license, preferably in the state of work; however, licenses from other states may be accepted as well
* Typical licenses include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, and LMHC; * LADC and LMSW license types are not eligible, and clinicians under supervision may not apply
* Understanding of military lifestyles and experience working with military family members
* Ability to work independently to develop, implement, and evaluate safety and intervention plans to meet individual and family needs
* Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English
* Must be able to pass all background/suitability checks, which may include additional installation-specific requirements
Desired Experience: * Previous military service or strong familiarity with military culture
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) MFLC counselors also benefit from: * iPad provided for easy digital reporting, with no PII or PHI
* iPhone for work calls
* No insurance to file
* No progress notes
* No treatment plans
* No office to maintain
