We have the latest in automation and technology in the United States, and are looking for a customer-oriented Floor Supervisor.
Full Time Salary Position ranging from $70-$75K DOE plus benefits.Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of our Bluewater Linen

Reports to: General Manager


Position Purpose: The Facilities Manager will support the critical aspects of the maintenance department and entire facility to ensure the continuous and ongoing operations of the plant. This position is responsible for scheduling, coaching and developing maintenance technicians to provide a safe and reliable production environment. This position is instrumental in driving the Company's maintenance strategy to keep the equipment and production moving and growing. The Facilities position is an essential support to Bluewater Linen in creating unforgettable linen service for customers and work environment for fellow employees.


Responsibilities: Accepting responsibility for all equipment and facility maintenance including cleaning, repairing, optimizing, learning, training, and verifying proper working order of all aspects of the facility under the direct supervision of the General Manager.

Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Accepting responsibility for the safe completion of all work completed under direct supervision and conducting routine safety walks and inspections of the facility.
  • Taking ownership of the equipment across the plant to ensure continuous and reliable operation and providing technical expertise to troubleshoot production equipment issues.
  • Maintain elevated level of positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and customers.
  • Providing leadership to drive innovation and improvements within the organization to be proactive with all equipment and operational needs.
  • Scheduling maintenance plan and staff to optimize service and minimize costs, as well as coordination of payroll for all work completion.
  • Set a program in place to track and inventory parts for entire facility.
  • Strive to have your team quickly resolve day to day maintenance issues while balancing projects and prioritizing work.
  • Ability to train and coach team to improve performance.
  • Design, plan and execute projects, working with the General Manager to carry out the Maintenance Strategy for Bluewater Linen.
  • Ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships with our vendors and customers.
  • Utilize your knowledge and experience to recognize and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to support night and weekend issues when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed.

Requirements:
  • Maintain, service, and repair all models of commercial laundry equipment including but not limited to washers, driers, ironers, boilers, extractors, presses, stackers, and other machinery used.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing, issues and rebuild pumps, valves, regulators as needed while utilizing an exceptional understanding of steam/thermal systems.
  • Read and interpret technical operation and repair manuals.
  • Establish an effective preventive maintenance schedule on all laundry equipment.
  • Establish an organized laundry inventory system for purchasing of all parts & materials.
  • Provide technical training to the laundry team. Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposures to General Manager.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, boilers, and utility sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 50+ pounds occasionally.
  • Minimum 3 years facilities supervision required.
