YOU'D LIKE TO DO THIS We are seeking an outstanding Lead Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer to provide technical leadership in the electrical design of our high-reliability, radiation hardened space systems. Working at BlueHalo, you will have the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of electrical design in many different programs, support engineering efforts from concept to production. On any given day, you may be asked to do this * Lead analysis of customer and system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products. * Lead development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications. * Lead reviews of testing and analysis activity to assure compliance to requirements. * Identify, track, and status technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements. * Lead activities in support of Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services. * Coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product. * Plan research projects to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements. * Work under minimal direction. * Electrical system design, assembly, integration, and test support. * Embedded system architecture and design. * Knowledge of structured design processes and system engineering practices. * Occasionally travel will be required to support project needs, both locally during the day and out-of-area overnight. YOU'RE REQUIRED TO HAVE THIS * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent STEM discipline, from an accredited four-year university. * 5 years' experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, simulation, and layout. * 5 years' experience developing firmware for embedded applications (FPGA, SoC devices, etc.). * 3 years' experience in performing worst case circuit analysis and circuit stress analysis. * Experience with programming languages including C, C++, VHDL, and MATLAB scripting. * Experience with mixed signal circuit card design and simulation, including devices such amplifiers, analog-to-digital converters, digital-to-analog converters, digital functions, microprocessors, and point-of-load regulators. * Understanding of common communications interfaces, including RS232, RS422, RS485, SPI, I2C, LVDS, and Ethernet. * Experience using common electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal analyzers, and function generators. * Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance. YOU COULD ALSO HAVE THIS * Master's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent STEM discipline, from an accredited four-year university. * 7-10 years of experience with embedded electronics design, integration, and testing. * Active DoD security clearance.
