Client may consider h1b, especially i140 visa which assures long tenure employment.  Summary1.      This is a contributing role within the Platform team responsible for cloud architecture, automation, and delivery.2.      The Platform team is responsible for building and supporting services that enable our development teams to leverage frameworks, tooling, and services across in-house and vendor PaaS/IaaS offerings.3.       Platform defines the architectural roadmap, best practices, and provides education on these services.4.      You will join a cross-functional team of engineers and help define the architectural direction of the firm, build services, and provide mentorship not only within your team, but also across the organization.5.      Platform’s goal is to enable our fellow product focused teams to deliver solutions faster through automation and engineering.Responsibilities1.      Pair with your team members to build out services and tooling that advance our cloud capabilities using AWS services like EKS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, and ParallelCluster2.      Work closely with our partners at AWS to leverage architecture and support services3.      Review, comment, and approve pull/merge requests4.      Remain committed to automation of the entire software delivery lifecycle. Contribute to the principles that guide technology decisions for Acadian; work to help define cloud strategy5.      Analyze the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement6.      Consult on infrastructure projects to fit systems or infrastructure to the technical architecture and the needs of the end user community7.      Rotate through an on-call schedule with your team members to provide afterhours support when neededQualifications1.      BS in Computer Science or related field preferred; significant prior experience, financial services exposure is a plus2.      Proven record of building scalable and durable services in AWS, Knowledge of migration strategies for legacy workloads to AWS, Expert knowledge of common patterns and software architecture3.      Experience developing services/libraries across multiple languages.
