BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The National Project Director - Senior is responsible for selling and managing large and/or complex, new business opportunities through leads and referrals generated by personal business development activities as well as from other BluSky sales team members. The National Project Director- Senior markets to commercial property owners and managers, and commercial insurance adjusters and brokers to receive referral relationships for restoration sales in addition to collaborating and selling with other members of the BluSky sales team.
Salary Range: $125,000- $175,000

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales
- Meets or exceeds sales and profitability goals.
- Negotiates and executes contracts on behalf of the company.
- Achieves profit margins in line with company goals.
- Generates, manages, and closes sales leads generated from company and personal referral sources.
- Participates in industry functions and national trade shows as appropriate.
Estimating
- Inspects and determines the appropriate scope of repairs.
- Generates and presents complete and professional bid proposals and time and material billing packages.
- Prepares estimates or Rough Order of Magnitude (MOD’s) promptly and accurately
- Train and assist others on the team as needed.
- Work closely with the inside estimating department on large selling opportunities
Project Coordination
- Provide all project information to Project Manager and Project Accountant including budget, completion date, and all other relevant information.
- Mentor local Project Directors and assist with large and / or remote projects.
- Foster close working relationships with subcontractors and vendor partners
- Ensure production team understands scope, budget and schedule
- Obtain and submit subcontractor bids as needed
- Ability to show a justified job cost prior to transitioning the project to a Project Manager
- Obtain all signed change orders for all changes to the project, as required
- Act as a positive liaison between BluSky, the customer, and the Project Manager. Check in with all clients weekly once the project has been assigned to a Project Manager
- Ensure weekly communication commitments are kept.
- Work closely with Account Collections team to ensure timely invoicing and collections.
National & Regional Catastrophe Response
- Must be able to regularly respond to catastrophic events throughout the United States

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This role has no direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years recent marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration industry with a proven track record of sales growth.
- Extensive large loss and catastrophe experience.
- Must be able to attend Business Development networking functions, sometimes after hours.
- Must be able to travel up to 70% plus in response to both emergency and non-emergency losses across the nation.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience utilizing Xactimate software and Time and Material methodologies, preferred.
- Experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, preferred.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
TRAVEL:
Requires 70% travel. Additional travel may be expected for training or meetings.
