What You'll Do as a Banquet Cook:

  • Prepare Culinary Experiences: Prepare ingredients and follow standardized recipes to ensure consistent and high-quality dishes.
  • Showcase Your Skills: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure food presentation is both professional and creative.
  • Mentor and Learn: Assist in training staff on basic culinary techniques while continually honing your own skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Support all areas of the kitchen, contributing to smooth operations during events.
  • Innovate and Stay Current: Keep up with culinary trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance our offerings.
Requirements:


Your Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in culinary and/or baking roles.
  • Certification: Willingness to complete the Idaho Food Handlers Permit (free online) or possession of a ServSafe certification.
  • Skills: Proficiency with knives, kitchen equipment, and an understanding of food safety in a high-volume environment.
  • Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor, safely operate kitchen equipment, and endure a hot, steamy environment for extended periods.
  • Dexterity, good peripheral vision, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
