The Opportunity: As an information security risk specialist on our team, you'll work with different program leads and team members to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You'll get technical, environmental, and personnel details from to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you'll help your team guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. On our team, you'll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of policy documentation and accreditation processes. You'll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. You will design, implement, and optimize data infrastructure solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, survivability, and performance of data systems within U.S. Government systems. In this role, you'll directly impact U.S. Government modernization efforts with the customer by conducting accreditation through the Risk Management Framework. Using your knowledge and experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF), you'll assess security threats and implement security controls. You will develop and design the RMF for the Hybrid Cloud Architecture as data infrastructure, including procurement, installation, and configuration of data infrastructure across U.S. Government systems. You will develop and maintain a cohesive data fabric architecture, to establish data transport system, database fabric, and edge-based routing, that enables seamless data integration, access, and governance across various data sources and systems, including DAF level capabilities. Further, as part of a team, you will implement data mesh principles and best practices to enable decentralized data ownership, access, and management while promoting data democratization and autonomy. You Have: * Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), Data Infrastructure, Data Fabric, and Data Mesh * Experience in information assurance or cybersecurity * Experience using the Microsoft Office suite products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio * Experience with reviewing and answering NIST 800-53 requirements * Knowledge of information security principles and best practices * Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED * DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification Nice If You Have: * 2+ years of experience with IATT and ATO process * Experience working within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) application * Experience in an Information Technology or Engineering role, including systems engineer, help desk, or security operations center (SOC) analyst * Experience with ACAS/HBSS, STIGS, or STIG Viewer * Experience with reviewing and updating policy documentation, including diagrams in support of accreditation packages * Experience with cybersecurity in the DoD * TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor's degree * CompTIA Security+ Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
