That's why we need you, a systems engineer who knows how to engineer purpose-built systems to meet DoD needs. As a systems engineer on our team, you will help DoD clients modernize, operate, and maintain a deployable datacenter and other systems that support the DoD. You will work with other like-minded engineers to include Network, Security, Endpoint, and Sof tware engineers to understand the existing architecture and then operate, maintain, and secure the system in support of DoD events at CONUS and OCONUS locations. Furthermore, you will help to modernize the system to meet evolving requirements, incorporate new te chn ologies, and scale it to support other clients. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to incorporating and configuring advanced te chn ologies, to ensuring a high-level of availability during events, you will put your sof tware and hardware talents to good use. Additionally, you will grow your skills by employing centralized update repositories, employing Micro sof t Deployment Toolkit ( MDT ) , enabling secure data-in-transit ( DIT ) and data-at-rest ( DAR ) using Commer cia l Solutions for Classified ( CSfC ) , using server and endpoint public key infrastructure ( PKI ) , maintaining a high system security posture, and developing new skills to meet the needs of the system's design. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: * Experience with VMware vSphere v7 or v8, Windows Server 2019 or 2022, Micro sof t Windows 10 or 11, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux ( RHEL ) v8.x or v9.x
* Experience setting up and managing virtual infrastructure leveraging VMWare vSphere
* Experience with HPE integrated Lights Out ( iLO ) or Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller ( iDRAC ) server management sof tware
* Experience installing and configuring Windows Domain Controllers, and managing windows domains
* Experience with scanning, patching, and hardening servers, including HPE, VMWare, Micro sof t, and RHEL components
* Ability to work at client locations regularly
* Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to engineer, operate, and maintain physical and virtual servers
* Top Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: * Experience with VMware vCenter v7 or v8, VMware vSAN v7 or v8, or Micro sof t Hyper-V in Windows 10 or 11
* Experience with Micro sof t System Center Configuration Manager ( SCCM ) or Micro sof t Deployment Toolkit ( MDT ) * Experience working with commer cia l vendors to identify, assess, and implement improved and new IT te chn ologies
* Experience with storage solutions, including VEAAM
* Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate Authorities
* Knowledge of CSfC capability packages, including registration and implementation
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* DoD 8140 Certification, including VMWare Certified Professional or Micro sof t Certified Solution Developer Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
