Key Role: Perform testing and validation of sof tware defined radio equipment and antenna systems, hardware maintenance, documentation, and support to DoD customers for point-to-point wireless li nk s. Fabricate and configure wireless hardware systems and test equipment, both in a lab environment and outdoors, at local and remote demonstrations. Test and validate waveform sof tware in C++ or Python. Basic Qualifications: * Experience as an electrical and mechanical te chn i cia n
* Experience using Micro sof t Office sof tware such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
* Experience with electronic and wireless test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
* Knowledge of electronic te chn ology, radio te chn ology, computer networking, and the use and management of te chn ical documentation
* Ability to pay strict adherence to electronic equipment test, validation, and maintenance procedures
* Ability to follow procedures for the testing and validation of electronic equipment
* Ability to read, write, and create te chn ical documents
* Ability to obtain a Secret clearance * Bachelor's degree Additional Qualifications: * Experience with military avionics
* Experience with operation and execution of local and remote testing of radio equipment
* Ability to be a fast-learner who adapts to changing requirements
* Possession of strong mechanical skills, using hand tools for assembly, disa ssembly, and wiring connections

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
