Job Description:

The Productivity Lead is responsible for the cross-functional collaboration with process owners to maintain the accuracy & integrity of the labor scheduling & store operating systems, and for providing Time and Absence services in Reflexis and the Workday Time Tracking Tool. The Productivity Lead is also responsible for providing solutions to maintain and/or improve time keeping services; providing ongoing system enhancements, improvements & functionality; identifying solutions to Store Operations scheduling issues; and collaborating with field leadership to drive Labor Scheduling effectiveness. The Productivity Lead will focus on minimizing store dependency on labor-intensive processes by identifying & delivering process improvements and labor-saving solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee / manages daily activities of the Time Specialist(s); plans, manages, & prioritizes workload.
  • Works cross-functionally to improve Timecard related processes and accuracy.
  • Identifies Timecard related issues and problems; works to identify root causes and resolutions; provides solutions to maintain and/or improve time keeping services.
  • Ensures prompt and accurate time approvals and payroll releases.
  • Collaborates with P&C Services on time & attendance process and procedure changes.
  • Oversee / manages daily activities of the Ops. Eng. Team; plans, manages, & prioritizes workload.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure the labor model is relevant and accurate at all times.
  • Deliver reports, analyses, ROIs, and labor impact studies in a consistent format and level of detail.
  • Lead labor analysis on new initiatives; support implementation of new projects; validate benefits.
  • Plan, manage, and facilitate Labor Scheduling projects; create project plans; manage resources; develop implementation plans; oversee cross-functional teams; and deliver project objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional engagement to increase labor scheduling knowledge and execution; identify opportunities for improving the scheduling process; increase Labor Scheduler effectiveness.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements, efficiencies, and labor saving solutions.
  • Obtain cross-functional, Leadership, and Executive alignment on solutions.
  • Support the SOS and Impact Planning Process.
  • Support budgeting process by providing labor model projections.
  • Expand job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or B.S. Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Retail Operations experience strongly preferred
  • 5 - 10+ yrs. work experience; Min 2 yrs. experience managing people.
  • Experience and/or high level understanding with MOST, MTM or other Time and Motion Study Systems.
  • Ability to complete a risk analysis and provide potential solutions.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Ability to seek input from all levels and functions within the organization.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and establish priorities.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and detailed-oriented.
  • Capable of working effectively & efficiently in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.

How much do we pay (Base)? $102,000 - $160,000

*Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

This position is eligible for US Benefits – Select. This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120-240 hours of vacation per year for full time employees (60-240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees).
