About the Role:
The Renewable Credit Analyst is responsible for tracking renewable fuels through bp’s production assets and for supporting the regulatory reporting and audit processes associated with renewable fuel production. The role will work to ensure flawless tracking and reporting and drive digital efficiency improvements. The role will also support the renewable credit forecasting process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, optimize, and streamline diligent tracking of co-processing feedstock receipts and renewable product shipments to ensure regulatory compliance and maximize co- processing value.
- Proactively identify RIN, LCFS credit, and Carbon credit optimization opportunities and communicate them to the commercial teams for execution.
- Lead external audit preparation in support of low carbon regulatory processes / programs (LCFS, QRINs, RFS, etc.).
- Ensure scheduling activities support inventory reconciliation and settlement activities, making sure all operations activities are conducted in compliance with relevant HSSE and operating standards.
- Lead the renewable credit forecasting and true-up processes with trading front office for state and federal level programs, with responsibility to drive continuous improvement in process accuracy do drive incremental commercial delivery.
- Effectively communicate regulatory reporting knowledge and impacts across the business.
- Work with bp commercial and technology teams to lead and champion federal and state regulatory compliance.
- Provide federal and state regulatory guidance for tracking considerations related to new or changing renewable processing activities.
- Liaise with other groups and teams that are building or performing similar activity to streamline delivery and eliminate duplicate efforts.
- Product owner for digital solutions and tools related to renewable product tracking and low carbon credit/deficit generation.
- Aligns with bp’s Code of Conduct and models bp’s “Who We Are” framework
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Comfortable and efficient at managing complex data.
- Effectively communicates technical content to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to build and manage positive relationships successfully both internally and externally.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to build networks to improve efficiency and share knowledge.
- Experience working on teams comprised of stakeholders from a variety of business and technology areas.
- Knowledge of refining operations and midstream supply chain product flows preferred.
- Experience in or knowledge of biofuels and renewable state and federal programs / regulations preferred.

How much do we pay (Base)? $110K- $140K) *Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
