CAD Design/Drafting Job Category: Engineering and Technical Support Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * CACI is seeking to add an experienced CAD Designer to its technical team in Albuquerque, NM. This position requires travel in the continental United States for various projects. What You'll Get to Do: * Prepare mechanical and electrical engineering 2D&3D drawings of components, assemblies,, and engineering change orders from given data such as previous drawings, layouts, detailed sketches, notes, verbal instructions and standard references.
* Researches data required to complete accurately the engineering data depicted on an engineering drawing including previous drawings, project notes, sketches and field checks.
* Improves the drawing process by using the provided CADD software and hardware to develop software routines that automate tasks. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
