Overview:

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in promoting healthy eating habits and providing personalized nutrition plans to our clients.

Responsibilities:

*Inpatient Dietitian Duties/Services*

· Conducts patient nutrition assessments on a population of varying acuity patients. Manages the development and implementation plan for nutrition intervention based on the interpretation of the Nutrition Care Process.

· Utilizes assessment and evaluation techniques that consider the varied needs of age-specific populations as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns.

· Assesses educational needs and the presence of barriers to learning. Provides nutrition counseling for individuals and groups, taking into consideration any adaptations to teaching methods necessary to meet patient learning needs

· Evaluates achievement of learning objectives by the patient and/or family. Provides appropriate follow-ups in accordance with the patient’s treatment goals, referring patients for outpatient counseling, community, or home health services as appropriate.

· Delivers operational performance based on Aramark Healthcare and regulatory agency standards and programs in conjunction with an analysis of patient needs. Continually monitors, develops and implements assessments and necessary action plans to provide optimal nutrition care and meal service to patients/residents.

· Works cooperatively with medical staff as well as food & nutrition services staff to assure conformance to medical considerations.

· Provides education that ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards within the Food and Nutrition Department.

· Conducts patient and nurse rounding to drive satisfaction scores.

Maintains clinical productivity standards and accurate record keeping of daily activities.


Collaborates with others in committees, work groups or projects designed to improve services. Seeks opportunities for quality improvement and participates in problem solving and resolution of issues.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
* *2+ years of Dietitian experience*
* *Certification as a Registered Dietitian*
* *License in the state of IA*
* *Bachelor's Degree in pertinent field*
