Make history with us.General SummaryThe R&D Service technician, under general supervision, is responsible for the safety and efficiency of the use of any equipment needed to do their job. Responsibilities include a wide variety of assignments as assigned by immediate supervisor. Such as but not limited to weighing up ingredients for Special batches, weighing up ingredients for restocking pantry, taking inventory, keeping track of ingredients going in and coming out of inventory, expired ingredients, technician work, driving PIE.Minimum Requirements:HS Diploma or equivalent2 years' experience working in a manufacturing facilityPreferred Qualifications:• Strong communication skillsto immediate team, Ops team, maintenance team, product developers and to leadership staff• Strong skill in reading, writing, speaking, notes, Teams communication• Certification on all PIEJob Specifications:• Technicians operate equipment to produce weigh ups within guidelines established by Quality Assurance and to the highest possible standard of quality.• Technician, clean and sanitize tables, scales, carts, utensils, sinks and floors in accordance with established procedures and follow all sanitation procedure specific to chemical handling.• Communicates and or escalates quality or safety issues to appropriate team member• Reads and understands formula sheets to be weighed for special batches• Disposes of waste accordingly.• Properly utilizes power industrial equipment and follows LOTO procedures.• Practices and adheres to appropriate safety, quality and food safety guidelines including utilizing appropriate PPE adhering to all GMP's, keeping work areas clear and free from obstructions, ensuring area is organized according to 5S production standards• Assist other team members to complete task in an efficient manner• Support plant continuous improvement efforts, build capability by learning to operate new/different equipment, train others to operate equipment you are proficient in operating.• Support PD in all areas of kitchen work• Become certified on reach truck, wave, forklift and truck• Be able to lift 50lbs aloneCompensation and Benefits:The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$34,300.00 - $55,400.00Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
