As a Float Registered Nurse, you will have the unique opportunity to work across various units, including Med Surg, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and post-procedural areas. Your adaptability and expertise will be crucial in delivering top-notch patient care in a fast-paced setting.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple units based on facility needs
• Administer and manage drips including heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin
• Comfortably and confidently read EKG/ECG, including rhythm strips and dysrhythmia reads
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate and efficient documentation
• Participate in de-escalation techniques and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Work every other weekend and 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays

Requirements:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Active Iowa or compact/multi-state RN license
• AHA/ARC ACLS and BLS certifications required
• De-Escalation Certificate preferred (can be obtained during onboarding)
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate preferred (can be obtained during onboarding)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
