As an Operating Room RN, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Providing explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible persons
• Using clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions
• Contributing to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication
• Maintaining complete and accurate medical records
• Participating in continuing education to enhance your skills
• Meeting core measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Floating to other facilities as needed

Requirements:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Availability for call requirements: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days a month (potentially more based on department needs)
