As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with both Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) needs. You will be part of a team that values collaboration, compassion, and excellence in patient care.

• Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level 3 Trauma acute care setting
• Adapt to a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio for PCU patients and a 1:5 ratio for Medical/Surgical patients
• Float between Telemetry and Med Surg units as needed
• Utilize the EPIC charting system to document patient care accurately
• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend rotation and potential for two extra shifts every six weeks
• Maintain required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS
