As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child during the birthing process. Your expertise and compassionate care will be essential in guiding families through this significant life event.

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments as per policy
• Utilize appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients/families on pain management
• Develop and revise care plans based on patient response to treatment
• Administer medications accurately following the five medication rights
• Formulate and activate teaching plans based on identified learning needs
• Provide age-appropriate care and address psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs
• Maintain a safe environment to reduce the likelihood of medical errors
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required (AHA)
• Active OH or compact nursing license required
• BSN degree preferred
