As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering direct physical therapy interventions under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your compassion and expertise will help relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing for residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities.

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients
• Ensure all treatment is delivered following an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions
• Complete required forms and documentation in compliance with policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist
• Empathy and patience when working with patients
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises
