HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Talent Development Senior Manager is responsible for supporting our talent development efforts across global distribution centers, retail stores, and field leaders. This position leads the strategic design, development, and content creation of talent development initiatives and programs. Leverages company initiatives and program content when applicable across distribution centers and the retail field teams globally.
This role reports to the VP, Talent Development and is primarily based in our Buckhead office with up to 20% travel to our Distribution Centers as needed.
90% - Leads the design, development, and implementation of the Learning and Development Strategy for Global Retail Stores and Distribution Centers
- Conducts regular business needs analysis for the Retail field and Distribution Centers to ensure the customer and client experience are met
- Builds programs, training, and solutions to enable business growth and greater efficiency based on findings
- Strategic business partner consulting with leaders to identify, build, and deliver solutions that produce business-driving outcomes
- Builds and leads high-quality Talent Development programs and learning curricula globally to meet specific business needs and organizational priorities (e.g., orientation programs, onboarding curriculum, leadership academies, management development, learning content, skill-based education, succession planning, career development)
- Defines development objectives and activities
- Creates custom content and designs education sessions
- Owns the process of liaising with the center of excellence leader, building strategic roadmap annually, and implementing the strategic plan
- Acts as a thought partner to key leaders of each business entity
- Coaches, facilitates, and leads new rollout of education sessions, workshops, and meetings for Retail Field/ Store and Distribution Center leadership in-person and virtually
- Leads key engagement initiatives in partnership with local HR to implement across client groups. Responsible for development, stakeholder management and executing project plans
- Partners closely with local HR in Retail Regions and Distribution Centers to enable delivery of content and program (i.e., conducts train-the-trainer sessions, etc.)
- Develops and continuously improves processes, programs, approaches, communication, reporting, and systems to support business objectives and increase efficiencies
- Designs, reports, and provides insights on talent development measures and metrics
- Provides data and insights regularly to stakeholders (Operations, HR, Talent Development Leadership)
- Make recommendations on future programming and needs
- Drive and support company/Retail/Distribution Center HR initiatives
10% - Leads special projects supporting additional areas as part of the Talent Development Team

Preferred skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Organizational Development preferred
- Retail, DC or Multi-Unit experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
