FIAR Accountant
Hybrid- occasional on-site in Washington, DC Role Overview:
The FIAR Accountant will support audit readiness by supporting the client in executing general accounting processes, including management and/or execution of core financial processes such as accountable property, budget formulation, strategic planning, execution, financial analysis, accounting reconciliation, USSGL posting logic, closeout, and FIAR.
The accountant will participate in the financial management mission by providing continuous process improvement to support the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, meeting DoD-mandated timelines for submission of the PPBE activities. Role Responsibilities:
- Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.
- Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesize information.
- Prepare financial documents in support of execution, track funds. Requirements:
- Requires US Citizenship (No Dual Citizens) and secret security clearance.
- 3-5 years of Financial Accounting
- 3-5 years of General Accounting
