FIAR Auditor
Hybrid- Occasional on-site in Washington, DC Role Overview:
The FIAR Auditor will support client operations by conducting walkthroughs, preparing audit plans, & assessing internal controls through control testing. Ensures understanding of business systems & operations, recognizing & evaluating relevant business risks & controls, performing appropriate audit tests focusing on high risk areas such as program assets and accountable property, and developing audit findings & recommendations into a report format. Analyzes Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) & determined Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to help drive remediation. Role Responsibilities:
- Monitor changes to process documentation (e.g. narrative, control matrix), including risk monitoring.
- Utilize Federal and Department of Defense FIAR guidance to conduct assessments.
- Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.
- Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesize information. Role Requirements:
