Position Summary: The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the AWS Cloud Infrastructure-as-a Service required to meet business needs with little or no supervision. This would include proactive software updates and patching as well as provisioning, configuring, and integrating AWS instances. The Oracle Database Administrator is also responsible for providing first level support and troubleshooting for incidents reported by system monitoring, change requests, users support tickets. It will be necessary to offer after hours support as needed. Minimum Requirements: * 8+ years of proven relevant experience is required.
* DoD 8570 Level II certification, such as a Security+ is required.
* Must have a comprehensive understanding of the RedHat Enterprise Linux operating system, particularly pertaining to supportability of Oracle databases on RHEL OS.
* Must have a deep understanding of the Oracle database installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
* Active Secret Security Clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of automation development
* Understanding of updating and developing Ansible automation scripts within a RedHat Environment
* Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (YAML, Ruby Preferred)
* Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) What can a CDO employee expect?
