Clover Leaf Solutions is seeking an ICC Combination Inspector to join our dynamic team in Livermore, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. This position will play a crucial role in project development, delivery, and closeout while ensuring compliance with Corporate Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) requirements and maintaining customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive work from project managers and execute project development, delivery, and closeout.
Update project managers on scope, cost, schedule, and quality for all assigned projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide timely solutions to issues to meet project schedules.
Attend Pre-Bid Meetings and lead preconstruction conferences and construction progress meetings.
Review plans, specifications, contract terms, and conditions and oversee design and construction performance.
Assist in the execution of design and construction changes and review Requests for Information (RFIs).
Ensure coordination of all project work between construction contractors, stakeholders, and facilities personnel during major outages.
Monitor contract warranty requirements and coordinate follow-up with Contractors/Suppliers.
Ensure overall code compliance on all projects and identify construction and safety issues, reporting concerns to EH&S team and the Construction Safety Department.
Support investigations, audits, and occurrences related to construction activities.
Coordinate exterior work and traffic/pedestrian movement strategies with the Infrastructure team.
Review construction schedules and provide monthly status reports.
Deliverables Responsibilities Include: Reviewing Project Requirements Document (PRD/Design SOW from A/E) and providing review comments.
Completing Design Quality Assurance (QA) review forms.
Preparing preconstruction documents and construction issue logs.
Generating weekly project reports with photos and progress and critical path schedule evaluation reports.
Documenting construction meeting minutes and change order logs.
Developing inspection schedules. Required Qualifications: ICC Certificate in discipline field preferred (Mechanical, Plumbing, Building, and/or Electrical).
OSHA 30-hour training.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Pro-active approach to work performance and conflict resolution.
Effective time management and prioritization skills.
Knowledge of International Building Codes and Behavior Based Safety (BBS) procedures.
Eligibility for DOE clearance, including U.S. Citizenship.
